Donburiya

Donburiya is a Japanese joint located on Robson street. The menu consists of rice or noodle dishes and a small selection of sides. There is also a small self-serve counter with complimentary water, pickles and additional condiments if desired.

I ordered the Buta-Kim Don ($9.98 for extra large), which is a rice bowl that consists of stir fried pork, kimchi, chopped greens and mayo. This was pretty tasty mixed together and was a good portion size for the price.

While the place is quite small, service is friendly and the food is ready relatively quickly. I would definitely recommend this place as the perfect spot in downtown for a fast and affordable meal.
