Great Wall Mongolian BBQ

Great Wall Mongolian BBQ is a restaurant found on Denman street where you can basically gorge yourself on noodles. All the ingredients and sauces are laid out buffet style so you pick and choose what you want and then bring it to the guys at the grill to cook. At $12 for all you can eat, it's quite a decent deal if you're a big eater!

So here is a picture of my first out of two bowls. For my ingredients I chose lamb and beef, bean sprouts, bok choy, tofu slices, onion and added some kimchi after my bowl of noodles was cooked. A tip I would give is not to be afraid to load up on the sauce and meat! It might feel like you've grabbed enough meat but it shrinks and seems like a lot less once it is cooked. Another thing for those who like to be adventurous, going with small bowls will let you try different variations of ingredients and sauce combinations.

The meal also comes with what I consider as fillers, fried rice, soup and a basket of some sort of flaky bread pastry. Not that great but meh.

I also noticed that there was a person that would regularly go to check the ingredients, making sure to tidy things up and to give each container a mix after being replenished. +1 for cleanliness and keeping the ingredients fresh.

With this place being buffet style, you really can't go wrong when you get to choose exactly what you want. If you love Asian style pan fried noodles and you can eat endless amounts of it, this is the place for you.
