Westender Korean Restaurant

I had originally wanted to come to Westender under the pretense that we could get samgyupsal here, but turns out that while they do serve the pork belly meat, you no longer get to barbeque it yourself. Instead, you get a meager amount of grilled pieces for ~$10. This was pretty disappointing since previous reviews of the restaurant boasted of $12 meals that included everything. So we opted for shabu shabu as an alternative, which was about $30.

We also ordered some add ons for additional charge, including lettuce ($2), 2 bowls of rice ($1.50/bowl) and an onion salad ($4). Overall, it was a filling meal but also expensive for such basic ingredients. Not something I would recommend.
