We first went with two orders of Roti Canai ($2.95 each) to start. This is definitely one of those dishes that I have to order if its available. The flatbread was soft and flaky with a nice chew to them and went deliciously well with the curry sauce.
My boyfriend ordered the Kari Rendang with chicken ($12.95), which is a curry consisting of coconut milk, onions, bell peppers and potatoes. Although this dish did have a slight spiciness to it, the curry was a little bit lacking in flavour. I also thought that the chicken was a little dry but my boyfriend seemed to enjoy his dish more than I did.
For myself, I had the Tom-Yam Seafood Fried Rice (12.95). This big plate of fried rice definitely did not skimp on the seafood, as it had a good mix of prawn, mussel, scallop, fish and squid. I am a sucker for any dish that incorporates any sort of tangy flavour and with this dish, it was no exception. I found the friend rice to be quite appetizing due to the tom-yam lemon grass sauce used. A word of warning for those who prefer their fried rice to be on the drier side, this dish was of a moister variety, which I didn't mind at all, personally.
